Case Studies

Keep checking here for more case studies and examples of Kaitech’s turn-key automation solutions for a full range of products, services, and environments. The examples below provide overviews of unique engineering and design processes.

ABB Palletizing Cell handling 3 SKUs

In this video, you will get an overview of how we helped our client increase their thru-put and decrease hiring and management time by implementing a palletizing cell.

In this entire cell, you will see:

  • A Zero Pressure 24V Accumulation Conveyor
  • 15 Pallet Magazine
  • 2 Slip Sheet Stacks
  • IRB 660 Robot
  • Venture Zoned gripper for Pallets, Slip Sheets, and the Product
  • Lantech Stretch Wrapper
  • Pallet Conveyors
  • Alan Bradley HMI Screen

Conveyor for 4 Production Lines Feeding 1 Stacking Cell with Food Traffic hurdle

In this video, we are going to show you how we helped our client get 4 production lines feed into the stacking and packing cell. The tricky part about this project was all the production lines ended at a walkway that we had to keep open, so you will see the design that we came up with to account for that walkway.

In this video, you will see:

  • Zero Tangent Conveyor
  • 4 Production lines feeding 1 stacking cell
  • Walkway built beneath the path.

BB Stacking Cell for 8 Production Lines to 1 Packaging Cell

In this video, you will see how we designed and set up this stacking cell to handle 8 different lines of production so that we can stack and then package them.

In this video, you will see:

  • 2 Servo Driven Infeed Conveyors
  • 2 IRB 360 ABB Delta Robots
  • Part Locating Vision System
  • Servo Driven Stacking Outfeed Conveyor
  • Alan Bradley HMI Control Unit
